Default Engineering A 991 GT2 RS To 225mph

Pretty interesting article: My apologizes if it is a repost, I just ran across it on the GT2 RS FB group.

I was actually there at the same event with my 600lt when he hit that 226 mph...I only hit 205 😂. That thing was FAST!

Very cool article, I wonder if Porsche did the square cores instead of round ones in the intercooler for cost constraints?

Not sure but as the article says the GT2 RS intercoolers are world class hardware, but the PWR units are just even better. I have no interest in doing a big turbo build of my GT car but just doing a plug and play intercooler upgrade is pretty enticing. .

205 is damn fast dude...I tip my hat. It is one thing to say a car will do 205 but quite another thing to actually have done it.

It was definitely wild to hit Vmax of any car, that's for sure. Granted I hit 186 regularly in my former Grand-Am gt3 cup and that was no big deal...but a road car on a road (closed but...) was nutty.

The need to constantly refill the water reservoir is what kept me away from the GT2RS and choose the .2 GT3RS,
I was actually surprised and disappointed when I first learned of it in 2018
