After discovering (the hard way) that (a) smart people don't place partly used bottles of oil directly in the frunk and (b) the uber-cheap Home Depot plastic tub (https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1199...er-option.html) does not fit the 991.2 GT3 frunk, I looked at alternatives focused on bringing a sensible amount of stuff for a track day. And by sensible, I mean enough tools and supplies to get a wheel on and off the car, remove plastic bodywork, and maybe swap brake pads.
Having also been disappointed to learn that the popular Home Depot bin from the not-a-GT3 991 thread doesn't fit the GT3 body shell's frunk, here are two other options that do fit:
This one fits well left-right, a little loose front-back. You can fill the front-back gap by sliding the lid in behind the bin. With this one, you can comfortably install the lid while the bin is in the frunk.
This one fits very tightly front-back, which prevents it from sliding left-right. However, it's such a tight fit that the only place to put the lid is on top of the bin, at which point the bin bows outward so that you can't get it in and out of the frunk with the lid installed.
I'd suggest the Sterilite if you need a tote bin, and the HOMZ if you need a frunk liner.
