Non-buckets in an RS is sort of weird. I totally get different strokes for different folks - but you'll pay for it on the back end. I'd just get a normal GT3 with them.

Also, awesome that you did the full PECATL thing. My wife did something similar, she said to go drive the GT3 and see if it was something I really wanted... Unfortunately, I came out of that trip not just wanting but needing it.

The whole thing was an absolutely terrible idea

Very recently was in RS market like you, and ended up with WP and all necessary goodies including buckets. Personal decision on that one — only you can decide, but buckets are comfy for me anyway, and in a way are the absolute finishing touch on the whole RS experience. Just my .02

We went with 18 ways in our 997.2 RS when we bought it new as my wife could not see getting out of the carbon buckets with a dress on. When driving it, she also enjoyed the 18 ways more.

the buckets are a terrible pair of seats to get in and out of but once you are in, its awesome and fairly comfortable. I have done long drives >5 hours in buckets and they have been great!
its just a nightmare of getting in and out of it causes a major scene but its the same thing when getting in and out of many other trophy cars that people own

that is the thinking here - long legs and short dresses are a tough combo w the buckets...

Thanks for the input.
Love that car! Interior done right!! No buckets so you'd have to be ok with that, but better for daily duty. I love it.

OP: I have a Lizard green with 600 miles, original sticker 217k. I am trading the car in next week, it is in the dealers showroom on display, if you are serious and ready to act asap, you can have the deal of the century on it.
