New gearbox fitted under warranty! Not driven the car yet as I’m out of town. No Comment or explanation from Porsche. Hopefully they checked the replacement box before they shipped it. 🤞

I agree the incidents of gearbox trouble may be rarely reported ( not every Porsche customer lurke’s around on rennlist ) But this model, be it a touring or winged Gt3, was sold on the 3rd pedal, Slick stick shift experience....if this leads you to many wasted visits, and video’s being filmed by techs to vet the owners shifting techniques or support the customers assertion that there is something wrong with the car...I would have thought that a little customer interaction from the factory not the dealer is in order not to mention checking the quality of the replacement item is absolute. I have owned many Porsche cars from the age of 17 (now 55) I still have the first car, a 66 911 , this is the “newest” Porsche I have ever purchased (2000km only on the clock) and it should be the best ownership experience. Sadly the marriage seems to be on the rocks already..... I do love the car, but my confidence in the integrity of its components is now in doubt, if I now do some serious driving on decent roads and track as intended, will I be returning home on a flat bed truck and have a massive fight with Porsche to have the car put right again??
