Private seller asking $299K. It hasn't been listed terribly long (maybe a month or two), and he just dropped the price recently. Might be willing to deal with a serious buyer.
actually made him an offer a few weeks ago even though black wasn't my top choice. said he had it sold for $319 but saw he dropped the price recently....

I was in the market for a GT2RS last summer, I could not close 2 deals, and on both I was agreeing to $30k and $35k over MSRP. Waited to resume shopping during at the end of last year, saw the prices coming down and waited until they stabilized. Then Covid made a lot of things drop in value.

I'm in the market right now. The Covid 991 GT2RS discount will vanish soon. Asking prices are all over the place, but selling prices have been stable.

In my case, I am looking for non-WP, non-Mg, non-PTS and enough miles to get a low entry price GT2RS. Prices have been stable for about 3 months, but cars for sale are less right now, and supply/demand rules will apply moving forward.

When I got the 991.2 GT3RS, the price delta to the GT2RS was $150k, right now is around $100k, I wanted it to be $50k but that is not going to happen. GT2RS are changing hands, the only cars sitting for months are the ones with asking prices from a year ago.

Every seller I have reached out for one has mentioned other people are interested, the GT2RS used market is hot, so the $250k-$270k few deals that happened a few months ago won't come back for a long time (post 992 GT3RS, and when a 992 GT2RS gets announced or spied if it happens).

A common scenario I found, the trade-in value for my 2019 GT3RS is unrealistically low by almost every car dealer, not a few thousand dollars, but tens of thousand of dollars lower, but this is becoming the norm in the $200k+ car market, a 30% difference between trade-in and asking selling prices.

Now, 720S, those are getting close to the $200k mark, it is a lot of car for the money, tempting, and so is the 600LT.

Im in Canada, picked up a 2RS, 600km, WP, Mag, PTS, Red interior(sounds like im in the minority but love it as all my other GT cars have been black). In the end Im in just a small percentage over MSRP yet got excellent dollar for my trade. This car is a spec I would of ordered myself so very happy.

Not sure the difference between US and Canada but seems like the cars that actually sell here are around MSRP with some miles on them. Only two other PTS cars listed Ive seen on Auto trader are at ridiculous numbers. This was a consignment deal, seems like larger dealers are overpriced and private/boutique dealers more realistic.

The market is at all time highs, so for people who could afford these cars before, can afford even more now. For this privileged cohort, its like COVID never happened (from a financial POV)

i've been searching for a while, and don't recall any in the 250k-270k range ever.

There was a dealer sitting on a GT silver with low miles (like 1,200 I think) that was willing to take around $280 for it earlier in the summer. I'd heard of a few that were in the $250-$280 range as well, but most were listed above $300K. I'm super jealous of another member here that got one for sub $250K, but I won't reveal his identity so he doesn't receive hate mail from everyone...

I haven't looked in a while...bought my 2019 WP, Mags, FAL, PDLS, Black Leather/alcantara, Red deviated stitching, and the all important smoking package (why do all the GT2 RS's seem to have the smoking package? haha, kinda funny) in June...they are real masterpieces of engineering and IMHO are one of the prettiest cars on the planet too. Fyi, come to think of it I did just see one pop on FB autotrader just a couple hours ago; 359 miles and $350K, I just glanced and as the wheels were black I couldn't immediately tell if it was a mag car or not. Here is my pride and joy

Yes i know that...just the shading in the picture didn't make it obvious to me if they were mag wheels or not and I didn't read the ad.

At 350k it probably had mags. I think a lot of 2RS’s have found long term homes. That and a big load of PPP money should keep prices firmed up for a while.

I am still shocked anything was in the 250-270 range. I've been tracking prices with henessey and autotrader for a while and nothing went that low despite solid offers from myself and others

This was the only one I found:

https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-dropping.html

But it had some flags as it was used as a daily rental / event car without FAL. Likely was abused.

Also had a lot of predictors on there saying we would see these cars at 250k due to covid. and yet, here we are.

Not gonna include redundant pictures of my car but it didn't come with the smoking package so it must not be all that "important".
