His conclusion isn't really that surprising if you follow his Instagram. He doesn't spend much time at cars & coffee where the R really "shines."

Not taking sides, but just pointing out that this will not settle anything

No
No argument from AP either so it must be true

It means it's overall better. Probably the vastly superior engine.

I find Chris Harris informative and entertaining. Either way, I am keeping both and find the R to be overall more engaging. Depending on the use, the GT3T can certainly be better.

Is this breaking news? I think it is actually old. I've expedited my move to get out of my 911R. However my wife wanted a new 911 to drive around, so I decided to give her the 911R to do the grocery shopping and errands in. Hopefully, she can handle the quirkiness of the SMFW and not over rev the engine. The extra 500 rpm redline of the touring does have some benefits. I guess you definitely need that extra 500 RPM when your spending more than 80% of the time in that 8K+ RPM range. Anyway, time to move on. Its been entertaining with the bantering back and forth. Now, I'll spend some time with the 991 Speedster, until its time to let it go as well.
