I'm sure many more teams will follow suit in the weeks/months to come. Very sad, but racing is just marketing for most and line items are being crossed out in many budgets.

Unfortunately this may be a harbinger of things to come. The future will be determined by how rapidly the world can return to a pre-COVID status through successful vaccination and subsequent economic recovery.

Very sad, the racing has always pushed the developments for the street cars, wonder if R&D is now going to have a tighter budget.

And it was the excitement of IMSA that got me into the seat of a GT car, and then subsequent purchase of several Porsche’s.
