Has the Ferrari ROMA stolen curves from the GT3

I just came home from seeing one. It is quite a beautiful car in person. Having had an '05 Vanquish S as my daily back in the day, I really like the lines. But it is missing 4 cylinders and has a turbo. I'll stick with my 812.
Sadly, the soft top convertible won't arrive til prolly '22 so I'm stuck buying a Portofino for the wife's 60th. She thinks all sports cars have to be convertibles.

Please help me understand this quote “The Roma was designed “for people who would like to drive a sports car, or a Ferrari, but are afraid of Ferrari and sportscars,” said Ferrari Commercial Director Enrico Galliera“...does this mean it’s got the looks of a sports car but not the rawness or driving feel? With 612 hp twin-turbocharged V8, 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed over 199 mph...on paper it’s no slouch.

It is aiming for the AM, Bentley consumer whose only (conservative) Ferrari choice would be the ($400+) 812 or non boy racer V12s. Or for all y’all here a “touring” vs RS......
The Roma has softer lines than the Portofino, which would fit in nicer/more subtle in the parking lot to those who only drive their F cars to the Country Club.....
FWIW my son and I saw more Jag than Vantage. Regardless, those are absolutely beautiful designs. But a stunning car in person. Again, not a real Ferrari- missing 4 cylinders, but at least they put the engine in the correct place (for a Ferrari) just like Porsche does with the 911.
But for the sake of discussion I would have kept the “classic” round rear tail lights and made the touch screen more integral/blended than in tablet form.

I see more pressure on the Porsche GT market
