Thank you all. Both cars fill in the blanks. This is not an easy decision at all.

I assume you have seen this.

imho, 50th is best looking. Nice overall package. If looking for a pdk i know of one the best in the country 😉long term look at 997 RS for possible value retention. Lots of 991 gt3s. Still a fantastic car

For a possible investment!!- neither. Both will be worth less next year and then even less the year after. You will do better is stock market if you willing to hang in there.

Which car is better??? .2 GT3 for sure. The engine is just one of the best and mated to this 6 speed manual makes it special for sure.

Yes, my 2018 PTS, winged, manual GT3 has been a great choice for me. After almost 11k miles, I look forward to every. It will go down as one of the best in my car history-including a dozen Porsche GT's. I expect to keep it a long time!

If both are manual and it is a daily, then GT3 for sure. If you are looking for a more comfortable car that can be sporty but not THAT sporty, then go 50th. If you want the overall better car - much crisper steering, stiffer chassis (but not too stiff in the normal setting - about equal to the sport chassis setting in the 50th), far superior engine and just overall a far more engaging driving experience, then get the GT3. I have driven my GTS cab and GT3 Touring back to back on several occasions. The 991.1 GTS is an awesome car - the last, most powerful NA Carrera! - but it feels totally blah after driving the GT3.

Get the GT3.
this^

I think the most relevant quote is “it feels totally blah after driving the GT3”

I agree. All Carreras are blah compared to a GT car, and it is even more true for the 991 generation

Drive a 991 GT3 is all I can say
You will come to this conclusion : once you have driven a GT3 there is no coming back !

I owned a GT3T and a 911-50, both manual transmissions, at the same time.

I still have the GT3T.

As an investment, long or short term, I would own neither
