Default New GT3 owner!

I have owned too many Porsches to count but if I had to add them all up (minus my 1988 Diamond Blue Club Sport) they wouldn’t add up to my latest addition to the stable-

Late production 2014, never tracked with 14k miles.
front axle, PCCB, extended fuel, 3m on front half and lower rear.

I am in process of purchasing a 997.2 cup car so this probably won’t be tracked...much. I think it has to at least see some action as it’s just too amazing.

I have spent years @ Chuckwalla running down gt3’s with my lotus elise production cup champion car or PCA record holding GT5 Boxster and when this cream puff came up, I had to snag it.

I have been a lurker for years and just spent a long time reading an outstanding post about engine oil overfills. Mine just Showed that it was below minimum so I added what I thought was about a half a quart but low and behold...too much and the overfill yellow lit up.

Will either extract or get on lift and drain a little. Still bummed we can’t have dipstick

Glad to be part of the forum and will try to be a little more active. If anyone in SoCal heads out to willow, chuckwalla or even thermal...hit me up.

Congrats OP. Nice to see one in the hands of someone who has the track time to know what they've got. Enjoy in good health.

Two annoying "features" that seem like pure vanity - no dipstick and center locking hubs. But these are small prices to pay for what is a tremendous machine.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. For those familiar with the Palm Springs area, took it up the 74 to Idyllwild today for a a spirited little drive. Luckily I kept it pretty chill as there were a lot of CHP/Sheriff’s.

*One feature I am really enjoying is the front axle lift. With my 993 c4s, x50 turbo and other lowered cars I always scrape no matter how slow and conservative of an approach angle I take. With axle lift it’s a push of the bottom and even though it’s only up a little, makes a huge difference-
