Hello, my name is Dennis and I am about to turn 16 years old. For my first car I have a 2001 Porsche Boxster S, it is a silver on black car. My parents bought the car for me, but I am extremely entrepreneurial and in love with Porsche. I only have one question. Which car do you have, and how do you afford it? I am also looking to build up a network of fellow Porsche enthusiast, so please feel free to add me as a friend to your contact list and send me a private message. And if you're a fellow entrepreneur/business owner do the same.

Well I guess you miswrote the title. It should say first Porsche at 15.

Welcome. Take a look at this old thread. I think it has a lot of what you are asking about...

Congratulations on your first Porsche, and at such a young age, too. This is the GT3, GT3RS and the 911R subforum, so most of the people here will have one of those 3 models. I see you've already gone to the Welcome subforum. You may also want to go to the subforum for your car: https://rennlist.com/forums/boxster-...-986-forum-67/ . You are welcome here anytime, though

Welcome to Rennlist, Dennis. What a fortunate young man you are to have parents willing to start your driving experience with a Porsche! So my first thought is to thank your parents, yet again. My next piece of advice will be pretty tame, but its to pay attention to your education. While grades don't mean everything - they do tend to open doors and create opportunities long term that can lead to a lifestyle that is inclusive of Porsche cars. There will always be examples that will be contrary to my thoughts, but I would wager more folks who end up with cars on this forum are as a result of good old fashioned hard work and making good choices along the way. Drive safely!
