Alan- are you keeping the Stock muffler and do you go valve or valveless for the connector pipes to the Muffler??

I also have a set of Dundon headers awaiting install. Any issues doing the install with the side heat shields on? I’ve done the side delete mod without removing the side headshields — wondering how much more room you’ll need to get to the headers.

I did the header install without removing the rear bumper in about 3 hours from start to finish. Heat shields were not in the way at all for the install.

About 2 weeks ago had a (large) mimosa mid-morning, drove to the dealer, and an hour later had somehow traded in '19 GT3 manual + '18 R8 V10 Plus for a '19 GT3 PDK + deposit on 718 Spyder.

The awesome(r) part is that my wife still doesn't realize the GT3 switch happened as they are the same color, nor that the R8 is gone (normally parked at my parents house)

Here's a mod my daughter did on me. As a gag she did this "Invisible Man" job on me and yes I went out in public like this. Got some crazy a** looks and some thumbs up. All in good fun.

Haha...only my 8 yr old son noticed something different- pccb vs steels but this apparently didnt meet his threshold to think it was a different car.

For the record, i would have run this by the better half if it led to a net expense 👍

Jimmy,
For now I am keeping the stock muffler with valves. That's the combination I used on the .1 and .2 6spd. But I'm pretty sure I will add a loud/black muffler in the future.

Headers alone are extremely easy. You need ramps at least but they are a 30 - 45 minute job. You need to just drop the rear diffuser and you will have all the access you need.

Hi,

What is that little black strip on the end of your wing? Is it for added downforce and is it effective from your experience? Love what you have done with the winglets...
