Default Engine cover 991.2 GT3

Would the engine cover of a normal C4 fit the GT3 ?
Plug and play ?
Not the lift function of course but would it physically fit in closed position ?

Should fit, the two cars use the same tub. The RS uses the turbo tub.

No plug and play since you don't have the wiring, harness is different. Also will need to modify the intake. Makes more sense to add the touring parts since the engine's are the same, intake ducting would match up.

Be sure to check intake, as Touring has a completely different air cleaner system from winged car.

Intake from touring would not match
Touring : central
991.2 GT3 : 2 intakes on each side

I meant that if you used the touring deck lid and intake plumbing you would have a match. You can't keep the GT3 ducting as it's not going to line up. You can't just replace the lid you need to deal with the ducting. Embrace the wing

There are threads on here already from people that looked/did the conversion. Might want to do a search.

This might be an option :
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Porsche-991-....c100005.m1851
That combined with a used C4 upper grille (including brake light)
Dont know if the air ducts would line up...
