According to the PET they are the same springs. The only difference is the shock.

I think so as well, only thing that gives me pause is it makes mention of paint color.

For the GT3 it's actually a 981 part number. 981 343 531 80

Is there a difference in PN for GT3RS with and without FAL? Again, just a little weary because of paint mention

No difference. The way the lift works there's no reason to have different springs. If you think about tit this way, Why would you change spring rates on a car with and without the lift?

From what I understood; for FAL cars there is a collar at the top of the strut that's a few inches thick which the spring rests on, that collar being a difference between FAL and non FAL cars and the springs being different as well to compensate for the collar...

Nope, the collar is the same with and without the lift, only thing component different is the strut according to the PET, guess it could be wrong. You may want to go grab the PET and look at the parts or maybe ask the parts guys at your dealer. I've only had cars with the lift (997.2/991.1 and 991.2). The 997 is different then what's in the 991.
