Default .1 RS vs. Semi

Does anyone know the story here? My buddy sent it to me because he knew it would make me sick and it did.

If it's an old pic or old news.. forgive me. First time I've seen it.

I’ve had cases involving semis. They are Death Stars. If one of those hits you or flips on you...best part is at least it’s over quick.

I never stay close to them if at all possible

Nascar would find it perfectly normal and dismiss it as "RUBBIN' "

Trying to pass on the right and ran out of space? Most trucks have dash cams now.

From the distortion of the rear glass frame, I'm thinking the glass popped out on its own.

It looks like the passenger side window is down and that would be an easier exit than crawling through the jungle-gym in the rear.

Don't think that would have helped in this case and it might have made the problem worse.

Best thing is to give these rigs wide berth and keep your situational awareness on high.

As for passing on the right, I've done that, too. Not proud or happy about it, but despite left-lane laws here, both citizens and police ignore it, forcing chaos on the highway.

Best advice I've heard when I got my first ride in a 911 was, "Always leave a place for your car to go."
