Anyone use an extension for the paddles? I find myself doing some stupid things with my hands trying to shift while turning the wheel at times. Wondering if anyone makes something to make them a little longer, if anyone uses them etc.. Thoughts appreciated.

1. Buy ones that attach by tape to the existing paddles (Amazon, Receseng, etc...), or
2. remove the stock paddles and replace them with one piece paddles from JCR or Agency Power.
Can't speak to either, since I have no issues with the stock shifters and anything larger would be purely cosmetic, IMO.

Install is easy. Push a couple of clips to remove airbag, unclip a few wiring harnesses, remove wheel bolt and wheel, remove back cover from wheel, unclip and remove shift paddle assembly, remove pin holding old paddle in place, reinstall in backwards order with new paddle. Get a new steering wheel bolt and torque to 22 ft/lbs plus 1/4 turn for 991.2
I wrote a more detailed DIY previously, you can find it with search.

I'm 5'8, so my hands are not huge and I think the extensions will help me for street driving where I am not winding the engine out to 8K in town etc.. I suppose I could keep it in D mode, but I like to work the gears. Johnny's visual of ET fingers is spot on!

I have huge hands and I can’t reach the stock paddles from 10 and 2.
