Default dealer steps up

Purchased my 2014 CPO 2014 GT3 from Braman Porsche in Mar 2019 and when I brought in for some noise coming from the front end the service manager said my CPO had expired. Turned out for some reason the CPO paperwork never made its way to Porsche so I did not have the full 2 year CPO warrantee from the time of my purchase. Kudos to Braman Porsche and the sales manager they immediately are taking care of the problem and are giving me the 2 year CPO starting this month. We often here on the board about problems with dealers but its nice to know that when a mistake occurred that this dealer stepped up!

So you bought a car that they said was CPO was really wasn't? Sounds like they just certified the car now. Porsche might want to audit their CPO records.

No I have all the paperwork that the CPO was done prior to purchasing the car . Somehow never made it to Porsche. Nothing Dubious here, they made an error corrected it and gave me another year essentially
Right move

Glad to hear but lets be honest....they didn't "step up"....they did what they should have done....

In my few experiences with Braman they are a "top tier" dealer........

After a service on my out of state GTS, I got a call from Buzz Braman because they noticed I was a new customer!

In purchasing 12 P cars over the years I have never before had a call from a dealer principal....

wonder if they would have stepped up if the engine had blown while CPO paperwork was not at Porsche

Braman dealerships are top notch. I bought my Audi S4 from them, and now get my work done at Braman Porsche. Great stores, super nice, good people. Rick.

Wouldn’t have mattered in 2020, not going to matter for a few more years.
