Wonder what all of the posters who said don’t put a child seat in those sport buckets will say now. All along they had the weight sensor and tether so wondering if it was an overly aggressive legal team holding hem back from confirming it was fine.

Exactly my thought. One in particular was adamant that the weight sensor wasn't designed for children, as asinine as that sounds. Apparently Porsche doesn't agree.

Right! Where did they all go? Pretty sure we were called “idiot dads” who were trying to show off. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. Once the airbag light illuminated that it was “OFF” and state trooper from the closest barracks said it was perfectly fine, I went ahead and bought booster. Keyboard warriors dime a dozen and good for nothing.

Note it still says they don’t recommend a child seat in LWB.

Bringing this back to life quick. Looking at buying a 981 Spyder with 918 buckets. Does anyone know if the 981 manuals had a similar revision?

Bump. Any recommendations other than the Cosco one or will that do the charm? Need one for my 5.5 yo for occasional ride to karate or cars & coffee.
