For those of you that service your own centerlock wheels, do you replace these every time u change the rotor? I’m planning on replacing my pccbs with the girodisc steel solution and didn’t know if I need to add these as well. Thx!

Jackpoint stands (http://www.jackpointjackstands.com) make it easier to secure the vehicle while hoisted, along with a low profile jack.

I had jackpoint, sold them and much prefer esco, much faster and easier to use. Also I changed CL wheels a million times with big breaker bar, never damaged any part of the car.

The main advantage of the Jackpoint stands is that you can lift the car at the factory recommended jacking point then place the stand underneath the lifting puck, thus both lifting and supporting the car at the optimal location. Where do you lift and then place the jackstand with the Esco stands?

I figured I'd go a different route and try a 40" breaker bar and this digital torque meter. Works out to under $150. The digital meter arrived yesterday and seems to be well made. It also came with a certification sheet, but who knows if it's legit. Will report back once I use it. Hoping to find somebody local with a high end wrench and compare torque values.

I'd be a liar if I didn't initially laugh when I saw the price of the Renntorx tool, but even that is making sense now. Just have to figure out how to get that one past the wife
