I can understand wanting to be mindful of neighbours for certain things - but **** that. Unless you're starting your car at 5 a.m. every single morning and revving it hard on your way out, they have no right to complain.

If you like it, you should really keep it. Can't truly live life and enjoy it if you're catering to other people's happiness. If you like it, keep it. Neighbours can go suck it if they can't deal with it.

Besides, the loud noises literally stop after the car heats up the catalytic converters. That takes what.. 25~45 seconds or something? It should become perfectly civil after that little period or so, valves or no valves (I speak from experience, my setup is a straight pipe on race headers with no cats)
