And..he mentioned that if there is one car he could own which he has never owned it would be a 964 RS....and I happen to agree with him. Any excuse for a photo.
That is the lamest bunch of drivel that I've ever heard.
And the F bomb usage is definitely over the top. Not that I am not a frequent user myself but that is taking it to another level. There must be other adjectives that a commentator can use.
still can’t believe I haven’t seen anyone convert a wing to touring. Said I’d give it a go in 2020. Looks like it’s going to be a reality as I’m good with 992 GT3. keeping this long term so going to stick with it instead of always jumping on latest and greatest. To find my spec in current tourings would be impossible and I personally like alcantara better. Should be fun.

Ignoring Matt's use of the Fbomb and his interruptions Monkey Harris speaks with authority, a real enthusiast, you can drive and has great taste in cars.

agree. 964rs becoming my fav back road car of all time
edit: assuming I’m not wanting to be hauled off to jail; if jail time is a possibility, I have a few other cars I might put in front of it. 964rs is a handful (in a good way) at reasonable speeds. 50 feels like 75!

Agreed - and he has become one dimensional in many respects. Much prefer Henry Catchpoles work - more interesting and more considered. Notwithstanding that you have to dial out the Porsche fanboyism from both.
F bomb usage is a joke. Matt was on Joe Rogan this week too and that was worse. I think Matt is excellent at what he does but would love to see him dial the f bombs back.

Why would anyone who bought a .2 Manual covert a Wing to touring. It is the same car but those who ordered a Wingy want a Wingy. I happen to think the Touring looks boring, just like the "R", and that is probably the precise reason for those that did not want a Wingy
I thought I had the only Speed Yellow GT3 Touring😢. At least I’d be in good company- always like his reviews and how he can haul *** around a track with one hand on the steering wheel talking to the camera most of the time.
Why would anyone who bought a .2 Manual covert a Wing to touring.
Because several members here have asked how to do it. There are at least three threads on it. And because many Touring owners were originally wing owners who sold or traded their winged GT3s in order to go after Tourings.
I had a winged .2 PDK and I wanted to ditch the wing. I started one of the threads. It takes a lot to do with the motorized wing. I ended up getting a Touring allocation so I just sold it.

Then I must be boring I guess. I was in market for GT3 in April of this year. I preferred a touring, but I got in the game late. People were asking 25k over sticker at the time. I wasnt willing to spend 25k on top of msrp for my first Porsche that wasn’t spec’d to my liking. I was fortunate to find a perfect wingy around $188k sticker. wouldn’t change a thing. (Except touring pack) : )
Like you said they are the same exact car. it’s just a few parts. It can easily be returned to original. id rather spend 10k on my car to convert to the look I want than give someone 25k for absolutely no reason since they are the same car. Instead I’ll take some maggy BBS’s, p1 seat inserts, tech art pedals and other mods to make my car mine.
some companies make a living off converting 911’s. Maybe no one has done it because of warranty reasons possibly? I’ve already done a tune so that’s not a concern. I’d say a good chunk of touring buyers bought to flip. I’m in it for opposite reasons. Drive hard. Drive often.

I doubt it is speed yellow, because the UK got functionally no PTS. Maybe he got a euro LHD car or did a personal import from somewhere (but that would be insane money), but I think it is racing yellow and just a dark picture being inside.
