Well it took some time but finally released! Hope you enjoy it. Really shows the variance between the cars.

Good stuff, although the gap (2:11.67 vs 2:11.98) between the 991.2 Cup in this video vs the 991.1 Cup in last match up is too small. Either track conditions were different, car set-up wasn't optimized or it's time to get Bryan Sellers back in the seat.

What an incredibly interesting video! The question is always one of those or a 991 Cup for less than half the price. Based on this, the CS does make a case for itself though VFM the Cup is of course still the better choice.
Very curious how the running costs of the CS work out. I love the concept, but wish they had done something like this to a GT3RS and kept it road legal. Believe it was seriously considered but ultimately dropped.

Thanks for the video! It's very interesting and different from my own experience.
This 3s gap is huge vs. what I encountered when I tested these two back-to-back late October on my home track (Shanghai F1).
Being my first session in the GT2 ever, I ran the delivery setup and used no kerbs because of all the appendages under the floor. Best lap was a 2:09.2, Michelin N2 greens. Car struggled with understeer and braking on that initial setup. I reckon aggressive kerb use would give me 0.75-1.0s and dialing out the understeer another 0.5-0.75s. That's a high 07 / low 08 theoretical.
Right before driving the GT2 I did 3 sessions and ~45 laps in my 991.2 Cup. Best was a 2:09.0, also on N2 greens. That's a 1.0-1.5s gap to the GT2's theoretical.
FWIW, my 991.2 Cup is competitive in Carrera Cup and I placed her on pole on the same track.
TBH a 3s gap is what I'd expect between the Cup and the GT3. Almost everyone at Motorsports would handicap the GT2 midway between those two. That's what I encountered at Spa (I raced Spa 24H in a 991.2 GT3R this July and there were 20 GT2s doing a support event then). My own two cars with my own driving in Shanghai is another datapoint.
I wonder if the 991.2 Cup was properly set up... Leh's post-drive comments kinda hinted at not-as-stable braking. Now this will be one for the man himself to chime in...
