Just came across this thread but I had a very similar clicking noise on my right rear of my 997.1 was only noticeable at low speeds with the windows down drove me mad.
Turned out to be a loose TPMS sensor that was rattling around inside the wheel once that was tightened no lore sound so might be worth a look inside your wheel too

I am now dealing with this clicking noise. I have rebuilt my centerlock nuts and cleaned all the surfaces as specified in Bullentin #2106 - 991 Clicking Noises from Centerlock Wheels. The issue seems to go away for the first drive, when quickly comes back on the second drive. Its coming from all four wheels, though mostly the rears and front left. I think my only option left is to replace the wheel bearings. Any other things worth checking before hand?
