If a PDK is a manual then all PDK drivers should be able to drive manual as well.. when that's true then PDK = manual. Lol

This post is asking if PDKs are manuals. I'll help you and explain my point. No they are not the same, why bc the "skill" to drive the manual is different to the PDK.

Didn't know that Porsche made a GTI, so not sure what that has to do with this thread.

Maybe skill on the track. But you're assuming those who drive manual have great skills. There's driving a manual, and there's DRIVING a manual. Most of these are driven on the street anyway.

Please submit your manual driving skills on the track for us to judge appropriately as well.

I'm talking about DRIVING. If somebody is just driving then they would be better off on a Tesla or Civic.

Please don't tell me you've never eaten a burger, drunk a Coke and driven a manual at the same time. You need two feet but one hand is enough for 99% of the time.

the only reason to say its a manual is if you don't have a real 3 pedal car and want a manual and have manual envy. PDK is great, just not a manual and there is no replacement for 3 pedals. The phrase used to be "theres no replacement for displacement" Not any more

I do not beleive your car has to identify as manual or automatic. It has the right to identify as either manual or automatic, or both, or neither. It is what it "feels" it is. I could tell my touring was very offended the other day when some ignorant car enthusiasts said "awesome Touring love the manual". He did not even seem to care how much it hurt my cars feelings!! Just because it has a pointy stick doesn't mean it identifies as a manual! Come on people this is the 21st century, get a clue!!!

I don't know .. wing circumcision is pretty barbaric. The car should at least be 18 years old before you clip it's wing. Sure freedom of religion is important but messing with a cars wing is a bit much.

It does everything a manual does? Full control of the car.
Only thing 3 pedals are good for is the dance you need to do in order to shift gears properly.
But once you know and learned it, it’s just something analog to do.,
