I used my 991.1 as a daily for about 4 months. If you're blessed to have a commute that isn't all bumper to bumper traffic, then it's great fun to blast to and from the office. In stop and go, I would much rather have a luxury sedan or SUV.

I can aspire to be you in a couple years once I hit 120k on the GT3 and send it to the glue factory.

New PDK at 35k miles.
The Trans didn't actually break, occasionally the seals fail inside and you get a mixture of gear oil and ATF. The German's call it a "Mixer."
It started to slip in Manual.. over rev a bit and then come back down in the revs. Other guys get a limp mode.
Warranty covered it no questions asked and replaced in a week!
If you can, try to service your cars at big dealerships. With more traffic the techs are more wise.
No other issues.
Zero.

Drove mine daily on nice days, and it was actually very livable. Bucket seats were a little tough to get out of, but overall not bad.

I drive mine every chance I get, but only rack up ~500mi/month. Since I work in sales, I find it better that a customer doesn't see me driving anything flashy. Otherwise, I would have no issue making it my primary vehicle.

Doing the same with my RS, have a short commute (3 miles) but the car is entirely livable with that use. I get a few opportunities to open it up (highway on-ramp) so I get some fun in too.
