991 GT3 Daily
 

Anyone uses their GT3 as their daily? Looking throw some winters on it and enjoy it year round.

Life is short.

Purchased CPO November 17 with 4K miles.

I live in Los Angeles.

I used my 991.1 as a daily for about 4 months. If you're blessed to have a commute that isn't all bumper to bumper traffic, then it's great fun to blast to and from the office. In stop and go, I would much rather have a luxury sedan or SUV.

Nice, looking to do the same. Hard to find a 991.2 gt3 in the right spec. Pricing is all over, some people think theirs is worth a fotrune.

Wow, that's awesome!!! Got mine same time as yours, but it is still even now less than 4K since I don't get an opportunity to drive much. :(

Nice.. any maintenance issues in your ownership thus far?

New PDK at 35k miles.

The Trans didn't actually break, occasionally the seals fail inside and you get a mixture of gear oil and ATF. The German's call it a "Mixer."

It started to slip in Manual.. over rev a bit and then come back down in the revs. Other guys get a limp mode.

Warranty covered it no questions asked and replaced in a week!

If you can, try to service your cars at big dealerships. With more traffic the techs are more wise.

No other issues.

6 months owned and 12k miles of fun reporting in.

Drove mine daily on nice days, and it was actually very livable. Bucket seats were a little tough to get out of, but overall not bad.

Been using my 991.1 GT3 daily for the past 2 years, but I live in the Middle East so there is no rain year round.

Consider me envious. Reminds me of the 14 or 15 that went up for sale with just shy of 100k... That person was living.

I drive mine every chance I get, but only rack up ~500mi/month. Since I work in sales, I find it better that a customer doesn't see me driving anything flashy. Otherwise, I would have no issue making it my primary vehicle.

Doing the same with my RS, have a short commute (3 miles) but the car is entirely livable with that use. I get a few opportunities to open it up (highway on-ramp) so I get some fun in too. :D
