GT3RS ppf plastic pieces?

GT3RS ppf plastic pieces?
Does anyone wrap the black plastic portions of the RS? Or do you leave it uncovered?
standard ppf wrap would make those matte black pieces glossy. Do people matte wrap them?
thanks
EDIT: the pieces I’m referring to are the NACA ducts, intake trim, long runners on the rocker panels, top of the engine cover, wing ends. Has some kind of black matte finish but feels different from the light plastic trim pieces.

PPF comes in Gloss and Matte finishes. So you can have whatever you want wrapped in either finish. Simply let the PPF shop know exactly what you want done.
Wing endplates on the GT3 are matte black - I had them wrapped in matte finish. I don't believe they are plastic, I think they are simply matte black painted.
Regarding plastic pieces on the car, I don't think the PPF would stick too well to them. Headlights are no problem, but other plastic areas that are not completely smooth like a painted finish probably won't hold the PPF in place for too long. Ask the PPF shop, they should know.

Side Skirts under the rocker panels - I don't think PPF will stick to them. Plus they aren't expensive to replace (like the front lip). A good tip to prevent rock chips on them (along with doors and the hips of the car) is to use the tiny mud flaps on front wheels that someone on this forum figured out. I still need to install these, as they are practically invisible. It's a very cheap DIY with high return on investment : )
Wing ends - yes, I had that done with matte PPF.

NACA ducts, side intakes and side skirts are all hard plastic smooth enough for PPF. My installer used matt finish Expel and looks great. Recommend

Thanks that's what I needed to know. My installer was making a fuss about getting matte film and wanted to do standard film because that's what he did for his other customers.

I have a client with a PTS GT2RS and all of the black plastic piece on it are done in gloss Xpel. There is a lot of black plastic on those cars.
When end I first saw the car, I asked him if he had the pieces painted at the the factory or afterwards. Then he told me it was Xpel. Blew my mind that it would stick, but it all looked very clean and oem.
Next time around, my car will get some protection of some kind on these pieces.

I’m contemplating DB gloss Carbon all of the things on the exterior, so that should make xpel easy to apply I would think. Good to know it will work on the stock plastic too though.
