Is that a 718 Cayman GT4 RS? It looks pretty close to production to me. That's a similar wing to the 992.1 GT3 and it is not ugly, look at today's 991 RSR.

They can extract much more than 414hp from the 4.0, so another 20Hp, more aero, a CF hood and magnesium roof, wider tires, and likely another $25k over the 718 GT4 price, what else? Ohhh Mg wheels and WP for another $31k.

I would imagine the wing flips during hard braking. All the hyper cars doing it, must be effective. The uprights look almost like the tails on planes.

All these cars are disguised. I would be surprised if those are the final wings....

Those vertical supports are definitely camo. Someone posted renders of a swanneck design that looked much better.

That said, for a GT3, I'm very happy with the 991.2 design. Subtle enough that it doesn't draw too much attention while still offering excellent downforce. Will be excited to see the final design (which will certainly be far more refined compared to the camoed first pic)

Drifting

A bit too much for me. I prefer the GT3 look to be a serious sports car that is also ready for the track, not a car is that basically track only like the RS, or a GT3 with this wing.

Between the terrible 992 styling, this new wing, and dealer ADM games, I expect to sit out the entire 992 GT cars generation.

I believe the wing will have a swan neck design similar
to that one in this picture but different pitch

I’m sure it will look good in production. Love the wing on the RSR. Hope it’s similar to that.
