Update: Just spoke to Porsche dealership and explained situation that black plastic bushing on park cable/lever broke and car won't go into park. They explained there is a recall on the black plastic bushing and they are being replaced with white bushings for anyone having similar issues.

Just found this thread. Had this happen with my 991.2 C2s after a major repair. Discovered it today. Seems like an easy fix. We can all be relieved there was no major disaster from a car simple rolling away.
