As others have said, buyers market right now. Car values are going down.

I would trade it to the dealer and take the tax credit. Or consign as others have said. I wouldn't deal with the headache of selling it and the thousands of questions you get from non interested parties asking you questions.

@WenigerAberBeser take it down to Tactical Fleet in Addison and consign it with them. Ask for Jason Putnam, he'll move it.

+1 Ive only dealt with him once, but my impression is that Jason is a straight shooter. Selling on your own is a pain, and in a tax credit state, makes less sense to do so. Lots of independent dealers in DFW with interesting inventory to trade into if you don't want to consign.

And another thing appropriate to add here is that in the big picture, even in today’s soft market, the value of the car has held extremely well compared to many others in the same price range, so don’t sweat it. If you NEED to sell it, it will take you probably 10 minutes of internet research to determine a competitive price that will attract buyers.

Cannot tell you how happy this buyer’s market makes me. All those arrogant statements around the time this car was new, people paying ADMs, dealers playing games.... For those people who “had to have” their toy in their first world universe, they deserve to take the 30-40k hit.

Watch what happens in spring when new GT3 is unveiled AND the weak market worsening/recession, these cars will not sell for 6+ months even with discounts.

Bottom line is, the market for a 6 cylinder, low torque, unpractical expensive Porsche is quite small. It was always small, but those flippers or people who dont truly belong to a purist’s car somehow managed to jump ship. Now they are being nicely told to get out.

Hmm... interesting. I actually pity those who had to have it first and then have to sell later for whatever reason and take a huge hit, I don’t relish in it though. I got mine at MSRP during 2nd half of the run.

I think ill I’ll keep this car though, thought I could do some cool stuff with the cash but after driving it hard the past month I kept second guessing that decision. I don’t really need the cash and the value of the car is higher to me then what the market seems to bear.

Market is definitely not going to get better. Winter is coming and so is the next gen gt3.
