price of cuban cigar dropped a lot. I don't give a fk bc I don't smoke
price of water in CA increased a lot, I am worried. I need a lot of water for my lawn
price of GT cars dropped... well it really only matters if YOU are buying or selling. otherwise is just another piece of useless information. much like my wife telling my Tiffany has a big sale b/c I don't buy her jewelry, I only buy cars.

Isn't a car with PCCB's, buckets and PTS about a $180k sticker car? So essentially cars are being offered for what they should be offered for, which is MSRP or under.
Rolex is ridiculous now too. If you want a stainless steel sports model, you are paying over retail. Daytona, double over retail. Thats just ridiculous. Once they come back down to retail, then that will be normal and what I expect.

Let me “cross reply” from the other very important value tread.
“Gosh, I cant even CPO my car anymore. Standard wheels are gone for BBS, PCCB gone for AP racing, side mufflers gone and very soon headers will go too for Akra racing system.
gee, guess this piece of junk with mostly track miles is worthless. Or really priceless for me because I love every mile of it.”
Can we just accept the only investment related to these cars are ourselves, gifting our souls with some happiness and relief from this crazy life? They will obviously depreciate but they have a certain inherent value. Save some more and buy when you save enough instead of having a false hope it will one day reach an unrealistic low value.

Waa this suppose to be a surprise? Was in a market for one last yr... dealer games and such and got tired of it. Got a 600LT instead and dont care about depreciation.. buy a house if you want an investment. Cars are for experiences in the short life we live.

I’ve been looking for a 991.2 gt3 for a while and the prices are coming more In line with their msrp to the point I don’t bother even looking at any wildly marked up ones. That being said I have also been in contact with a local dealer about possible 992 allocation and am holding off to see if the touring is getting released fairly early in the cycle.

buy it. drive it. enjoy it for what it is--a depreciating asset
