It did per the auction comments -- seller tried to get more from his dealer without success.

It's getting compelling to get back in again for a track car soon. I wonder if bottom will reach $120k or so. This was an almost new car!

Having been poking around the GT3 market for the past couple of months, it seems like a weird time. Dealers gobbled up cars as they came on market through last spring, sometimes overpaying to go for the flip.

While everyone is still asking around MSRP, a few dealers who didn't overpay have been willing to go around 10-12% off of MSRP on non-tourings. Dealers that appear to have overpaid are holding firm at around 5-7% off on non-tourings. There are two local tourings in private party hands with low miles at around MSRP that appear to be sitting without much activity based on my interactions with the sellers.

I'm guessing that prices will be dropping as we head into the winter with the 992 GT3 around the corner (doesn't float my boat but it should impact prices).

i'd like to know this too. buyer pays for juice on top of winning bid. so that's not the sale price. probably still a good buy. sofas surely didn't help lol. this has to be the worst time to sell with winter almost here.

Looks like $5k per BAT: https://bringatrailer.com/faq/#targe...he-buyers-fee-

If you win an auction we charge 5% of the final bid price on top of the winning bid, with a minimum fee of $250 up to $5,000 (5% of a $100,000 bid). The fee for sales higher than $100,000 is capped at $5,000.

$5000

How much is the buyer's fee?

The buyer pays BaT fees at 2.5% sale price but this is capped at 5k. So, 136.5k + TTL. Ridiculous deal.

So at a “$135k” sale price that’s a 13% reduction off MSRP. Or ~16% off without BAT fee.

Seems appropriate (or even good) for a two year old car?

Let’s see if the 992 gt3 is liked .
If not the gt3 991.2 will hold.

So much time and effort on value discussions - you buy car - it depreciates

Assuming 992 GT3 is NA, it will certainly be well liked, and the regular GT3 will likely perform at about the same level as the 991.2 GT3 RS.

My dealer sold a few of the green 991.2 GT3 RS locally. Two of the cars have hardly any miles on them, and the owners are looking to sell a little under MSRP, which is more than $220K. I told my dealer that I wouldn't pay more than $200K for the cars, since I could have gotten the car to my specs for $196K MSRP. Those guys took my spot, and now I pay more for a used car? No!

I hope prices on these cars come back to earth and the flippers go away, so that people who plan to keep the cars for a while and actually drive them are the ones who get to buy them.

Its funny, my car is 2 years old now and my dealer was shocked that i still have it. 90% of the cars are under 5k, so all the allocations that first came in, are not being driven, the later allocations are being driven. Its a VIP get in flip trend. I think the 992 gt3 will be in the 180's average and it will keep the 991.2 values around msrp or 10% less
