lol...Let the shaming begin. Selling one does not occur without some pangs of regret. Congrats with yours - it’s a fantastic PTS and yes, mine is leaving the state.
you kept two of my favorites...congrats again on the speedster
perhaps I will see you driving around the Seattle area
^. Was this sent with the car or post-sale with the first retail sale? I’m curious because I’m buying one w/delivery miles. Also, do the Speedsters come with a cover? Seem’s like there’s room in the MSRP to include one
I received my leather binder a couple of months ago about 8 months after I got the car. My non-heritage car did not come with a car cover.
Just received inserts for my LWBS from Kim at P1 Designs. First off, Kim was great to deal with. Very responsive whether answering phone calls or emails. Sent me fabric samples within a couple of days and received the inserts in less than two weeks. Second, quality and fitment is OEM. They came in a nice pouch too which I used to store the originals. Took about 15 minutes to install. I went with the Sport-Tex fabric and couldn't be happier. They really make the interior pop.
You mean driving with the top closed? Yes, it just drives similar to a coupe. Top is quite well insulated, no abnormal wind noise, very civilized.
Ha yes sorry multitasking ............I’m curios because I’ve not had the top up once since owning the car. Actually really only will drive with top down .......drove once in rain just for the hell of it. (:
That was my original spec (Brewster Green/ Ascot) when I ordered my car. The CXX exclusive rep had everything all set for a month then notifies me 2 days before the freeze date that she can not do the Ascot interior and I have to pick a standard leather. I looked at all options to change interior colors, move build date, as well as changing the PTS color, but was not given what I consider any reasonable choices. To make a long story short, I've seen that Porsche Exclusive has specced Ascot interior for the Speedster. I'll live with what I have but I am not pleased with the whole experience. Even the amended spec, was not done correctly. Through much frustration the car is complete. Just picked up from the dealer.
Missed this post...car looks great. Love the retro builds...some recent photos I had taken of my Oak Green Speedster...
The blue leather is called Royale WNP. Don't ask me what WNP stands for because I have no idea.
Thank you for your kinds words sir, but Porsche themselves have listed 20 Speedsters that they consider to be the most custom specced. 3 of them have already surfaced here on Rennlist (JCBH's Oak Green Metallic and Bob Ingram's Versuvio Metallic and my Azzurro Thetys). I know Bob Linton's beautiful Speedster is still at factory, so I can't wait to see pictures of it when it's all done

Thanks for compliment. I really like the color combo on your speedster, good contrast interior/exterior. Wish they could have put a speedster emblem on the wood trim like yours. Really like the wood, it gives a classic feel to the car. Speedster is an awesome car, the PTS and CXX options make it that much more special! Enjoy!
Took out the Speedster this morning clear and 45 degrees windows down, and tunes blasting. The flat six has a sweet sound as you row through the gears, and it’s 70mph feels like 100mph. Car has more than enough juice for the practical use. I hope you all are enjoying yours as much as I enjoy driving this thing. I’ve had many cars, and this is one that really just ticks all the senses. The car looks so much better in person vs pictures which does it no justice. I had a lady and her two young daughters roll down the window and said what is that? I told her she was man that thing is hot, normally it’s car guys. Happy Sunday .........
