The OFFICIAL Speedster pictures thread

Tim,
I think your build came out nicely. Definitely a well thought out build, even though the process took a bit longer than normal

That was my original spec (Brewster Green/ Ascot) when I ordered my car. The CXX exclusive rep had everything all set for a month then notifies me 2 days before the freeze date that she can not do the Ascot interior and I have to pick a standard leather. I looked at all options to change interior colors, move build date, as well as changing the PTS color, but was not given what I consider any reasonable choices. To make a long story short, I've seen that Porsche Exclusive has specced Ascot interior for the Speedster. I'll live with what I have but I am not pleased with the whole experience. Even the amended spec, was not done correctly. Through much frustration the car is complete. Just picked up from the dealer.

Sorry, I didn't know it was your car.
So you specced this Speedster originally? Then how come I saw it for sale on Porsche DTLA's inventory for the longest time?
And no, this Speedster is no where close to being the highest specced Speedster but I digress. I'm not sure who fed that information to you.

Hey man, I was just answering your statement earlier "Second, this is one of the highest spec’d and MSRP cars in the US."
Drop me a DM if you want to go for a drive. I'm always down to meet new car people.

Apology accepted, although it was somebody's car. I did not soec it. The buyer backed out of it. The dealer was asking over for a while. I wanted another GT2rs After mine was totaled and missed out on a nice deep sea blue example by an hour. So, while screwing around I saw this car and the color knocked me out. I would have done a few additional things If I designed it. Definitely would have Gone for diff leather and a few other items. Having said that, the car shows really well and much better in person. I did not say it was the highest soec. or that I spec’d it. However, it is up there on msrp. The car was listed everywhere and if I wanted to deceive I would not have posted. To change the interior leather is about 30k and up.correct? Seats are 8k. Have no idea how much they charged for the wood in the above example. In my GT2 I paid about 9k to change the carbon to brushed black aluminum and obscene but worth it prices on other items. Why do you care? Do you have a need to quash the feelings of other owners bc you like your car better or because it has a higher sticker? You seem to have some of the nicest cars of all time. I don’t want to go back and forth with you. I would prefer to meet you and take a nice drive together. My car is getting PPFd now and will be ready soon. I am laid up with some injuries and cannot even drive the car. Hopefully soon i will be able to and if so I will PM you if you are interested in a morning run. Peace

Hey thanks guys. Its was a long process for sure.Still not pleased about the circumstances involved with this car. I'll drive it for a bit and reevaluate at the end of the year. Unotaz, you always have great builds and put a lot of thought into each one, especially the limited cars. The Brewster Green 911R definitely seems to have inspired a lot more Brewster Green cars. The ideas are one thing, but you have to someone at the company to carry it through to production. This really has me concerned on any future builds.

Just proved the Speedster will not break in the rain, I wanted to go for a ride and it was sprinkling all good no problem. I refuse to drive with the top up, and guess what it started pouring so I did a uturn home for a few mile in the down pour .......was actually a sight to see people saying what’s wrong with this fool by the looks. Oh well it was an experience.
