Rock Damage on New RS

Rock Damage on New RS
Well... it happened. Cruising on highway and car in front of me shot up a bunch of rocks and got me. I wasn't even following too close. Maybe 5 car lengths. Craters in windshield, both headlights, front bumper, front lip, one of the washer nozzles in front of the headlights, one of the side trim pieces under the fog light, and a small spot on the rear wing but I think just in the PPF. I don't know what was on the road. Must have been a bunch of rocks or gravel or something. Have had car for only a few weeks
Headlights are an easy fix. Just pop 'em out and replace. Windshield is fairly easy I suppose but it sucks that a fixed part of the car needs to be replaced. Trim pieces and front lip are simple bolt-on parts. But the bumper has me worried. Hopefully once the PPF comes off there won't be any major paint damage.
Not a happy day.

It's terrible when people don't know their driving limits.

Everything that was covered with PPF was fine, some knicks in the PPF, but that is what it's there for. I cover my headlights as well (never had an issue with PPF on headlights and have removed with no problem). I did get 2 small paint chips on the back of the car that wasn't covered with PPF. The car isn't a museum piece, but I never expected it to stay that way. It's already had a metal rod skewer the front bumper when I was in Germany. LOL.
The two big things are windshield and headlights. Both of those are easily replaceable I guess. Just hope bumper is ok under the PPF and won't require repaint.
