991.2 GT3RS WP vs GT3 6MT

I have some straightforward questions, I am hoping someone who has seattime in both cars can help.
- Is the WP package with Mag wheels worth the $30k? Is WP package alone worth the difference without mag wheels?
- How different does the RS WP ride overall compared to the GT3 6MT as far as the following categories go: stiffness, power, sound (not so much exhaust sound both can be made louder but more the other sounds)
I need a car that will feel raw, race car like. I want stiff but not so stiff that it becomes an annoying experience. The car may see some track but 90% it will be driven in NJ as a weekend car.
I have 3 choices:
- LWB 6MT GT3 for 160-170
- RS for 200s
- RS WP for 220-230
- RS WP Mag for 250
Price delta between GT3 and RS MAG is 80k. If it werent for the big wing in RS (which is what I really want), I would not bother with RS.
I drove 6MT GT3 a few times. I have 0 seat time in RS. If RS doesnt really feel in another level in terms of rawness and overall race car feel, I m not too hung up on it.

If you can write the check, get the RS. Have had both and like the RS more. I have WP without mag wheels. Would have bought mags too if they were an option. If I did it again I would save the money and buy a standard RS and put aftermarket HRE light weight wheels on it and forget it.

Defo a WP RS for 220-230
the RS looks much more aggressive than the regular gt3 , and the WP looks more exotic than the regular RS .
You will love the car , all the exposed carbon looks wow !

If you are going more for looks and something with more of a sense of occasion then get an RS. If you want a more enjoyable driving experience then get the 6 speed manual GT3. Went for a ride in the .2 RS and the shifts were so smooth and quick, that I found the car a bit boring. I use my GT3 80 percent on the street and find it completely adequate for the track. People say the RS sounds better because of less sound deadening, but I can barely tell a difference. Throw a JCR exhaust on there and you won't be able to tell. The GT3 is also less stiff, so it has better ride quality on the street. To me the 6 spd GT3 feels equally as fast as the .2 RS. There are drag race videos of them from a roll and they are dead even. The biggest difference between the two is looks and monoball suspension. With the new pdk and how smooth it is, I honestly felt the .2 RS felt less raw. The .2 GT3 in manual is the best car I've ever owned, ridden in or driven. I have yet to drive a CGT or 4.0 RS though.

Where are you intending to use the cars? WP package doesn't have anything to do with stiffness. RS 991.2 is a VERY stiff car regardless of package, you may find it not as nice for the road, and a bit boring after awhile because it's just SO trackready. Buy RS if you want for the track (WP package or not, doesn't matter, mainly aesthetic consideration). Buy manual gt3 if you enjoy rowing for yourself, or you enjoy for the track and don't care about ultimate lap times etc, more the involvement. Hope this makes sense.
WP value is a standalone consideration.. but it's not a performance changer, just looks and the mental candy

991.2 GT3 is very comfortable and daily usable.
RS more raw. The RS front end and turn in is much better.
WP adds no performance, just looks - personal choice if worth $18k
You can get mag wheels separately for 60% of wp + mag.

I see the issue here. You're making this an "or" decision and not an "and" decision.
So .. get the 6MT GT3 *and* the RS WP. Best of both worlds and you meet all your criteria.

WP if you like the look. Some don’t. I do but it wasn’t worth $18k to me and like RS just as much w/o in my color.
Had the RS out today. Very simply the PDK is very engaging and the auditory sounds on aggressive up and down shifts is more than you get with an MT.
Drive both. Get the one that you like more. Your the final arbiter.
