So I decided to start watching the full 2019 Le Mans race.

And now I’m wondering if anyone on Rennlist has one of these RSRs? They are amazing machines.

Here’s where I started:

And I’ve still got 7 hours left to go.

Pretty impressive how close the GTE Pro race is. It’s been neck & neck pretty much the whole time.

Privateer race teams are the only 'private individuals' that bought the RSRs. Porsche don't sell the RSR to just anyone. As far as I know, none of the privateer race teams has ever sold their old cars to a private collector either.

Porsche's own old RSRs are 'transferred' to their Experience program, qualified individuals can sign up to their driving program and drive a RSR on track for a price. Qualified as in people that Porsche deemed is skillful enough to handle such a race car on track.

Mike, Porsche just released this documentary couple of days ago. Great to catch up after you finished the 2019 24.
