OP, sound is always a subjective thing and a lot of it depends on your background. I would say most of us that own these cars have had some sort of sports car in the past and have modded and tweaked them to maximize our driving experience. Doing an exhaust mod is one of the easiest ways to kick up the driving experience and is very popular in this community. There are also others that don't have a background on modifying cars or this could be the loudest car they've ever owned and have no need or want to add an exhaust. You can get ten different answers from ten different people in regards to whether to add one or not, what the best exhaust combination is, etc. An educated decision is the best decision, and with about 10 years of time you'll be able to read everything on Rennlist talking about exhaust systems haha. I've cut down a bit on that time by writing a technical article on this forum about how the factory exhaust system works and describing the differences between side and center muffler bypass pipes. You can reference that thread here if you'd like to take a read. Of course you can always call me for a chat at 484 883 6197 if you'd like to review what the exhaust industry has to offer, I'm always up for good conversation with good people

Best regards,
John Gaydos

i like the side muffler delete because less weight but mostly less heat near rear tires. Definitely noticed the difference at the track by a couple psi and at least 1psi on the street.
Thanks for the kinds words and the feedback Mike, it is much appreciated!

Killer setup, thanks for chiming in!

Considering doing the side delete as part of Dundon package with both headers and air intake mods for optimal power but worried about Porsche warranty coverage for engine if something big happens down the road as I plan to keep this .2 GT3 for a decade.

So if I decide not to risk all that, will stick with basic valved side muffler delete.
Jamie makes excellent products, for a full header/bypass system and intake mods you'll be quite impressed. Warranty will always depend on your individual dealer and how willing they are to work with you on a claim. Proper communication and a savvy service representative would have your stock components back on the car before the claim was submitted and photos taken of the warrantied item. If they are willing to do that, great. If not, find another dealer that will or make the call on risking it to maximize your driving experience on a car that is built like a tank anyway haha.

I installed my Soul side deletes in concert with the Shark Werks center section on Saturday. With the help of my Quick-Lift the installation was straight forward. With the bumper cover removed I took my time cleaning and inspecting everything as I was doing this project. Start to finish it took me a little over 3 hours.
The sound is amazing.... just what I was hoping it would be. GT3RSR like at WOT. No drone at highway speeds. Valves closed, cruise control set at 72mph.... to quote my wife..... “it’s not any louder than stock”. Under normal driving conditions around town it’s quite a bit louder than stock. My driveway leads to my garages and carpark area. Two 3 car garages that oppose each other by 40ft. Cold starts are glorious! I couldn’t be happier with the results.
