Signed up for a 105db event at Laguna Seca. Curious from those with experience if either of the following would likely blow sound at 105db:
- 991.2 GT3 with JCR rear center delete and silenced turn down tips. No GPS nanny.
- 991.2 GT3 RS with JCR valved race pipe and silenced turn down tips. No GPS nanny.
Thoughts from the Laguna sound experts?

The JCR Valved Race Pipe and JCR Silenced Tips will be 103dB (we have tested this also)
Worth noting (thanks John @ Soul) that the figures quoted above are from our own testing performed at Silverstone GP circuit using FIA calibrated equipment. dB ratings can vary track to track and day to day depending on weather, wind etc etc. As far as we're concerned the figures we're quoting are correct but thats not to say that they will 100% correlate with other measurements taken at other circuits.. Even though technically they should.

GMG center delete pass 105?
bumping this thread. Question to the Laguna Seca regulars: Will a 991.1 GT3 RS with GMG center delete pass sound on a 105 day at Laguna?

I have a 997.1 Gt3 with side deletes and stock center muffler. I recently went to LS on a 90db day. I used 1/4 to 1/2 throttle in 3rd gear between turns 5 & 6, near the sound station. It was hard to tell when to get back on the gas, so my lap times were not good. But I was not flagged until mid-day when I experimented with upshifting to 4th. I got flagged for 92.7.
I am planning to go to a 105db day with the same car and same setup. Will 105db be easy to stay under?
I am from LA and Laguna Seca was a bucket list item. I am going back because I want to experience the track the way it should be driven.

I am in Orange County so Laguna Seca is a 7 hour haul for me I was at there June 13, 14 for 105 DB days. I have a 996 race car with headers straight into Burns Stainless race mufflers. I put left pointing extensions on and still could not use 3rd gear full throttle up the hill between 5 and 6. Had to lift and watch 2 cars on average go by me every lap. Measured at 106.4 and 107.2. Both near the end of a session when I threw caution to the wind just to see. In my mind, no more LS for me. I will stick to tracks closer to home. But for those that have LS as a bucket list item, you have to have a picture of yourself in the corkscrew!

dundon and side muffler delete
2019 gt3 RS
Dundon headers, side muffler delete , gps switch, soul resonator turn away tips no problem making sound 90-92 db
only issue exhaust shut off valves not as rugged as stock exhaust baffle .

Update to a Laguna Seca 105db day that I went to in June. I did not need to back off the throttle at all and I was never flagged. Also, there were plenty of much louder track-only cars and I did not see any of them get flagged.

2018 GT3 Touring - Dundon headers, Dundon loud exhaust (with side deletes), Dundon plenum and bigger throttle body.
I was fine at Laguna 105 dB last weekend - should I be fine at 103 dB this weekend?
