1.47 lap in a 19' GT3RS with passenger at Apex Motorclub with bus stop. AWESOME morning at Apex Motorclub. Second time out. I went out there with several friends to lap some Porsches. We had two 2019 GT3RS's, a new 2018 GT2RS, a 2014 GT3 and a Ferrari 458 Italia. As of today the quickest car to lap Apex is a new GT2RS at 1.45. We have data from my 1.45 lap but I didn't have my GoPro on it. My buddy Cheyenne let me do a quick session in his new 2RS, only three hot laps, my first time ever driving a 2RS on a track and it was a beast. Not scary at all to drive on track. With a bit more seat time and getting to know the track better I could run 1.44's in a 2RS. My 19' 3RS did three short sessions and had a best of 1.47. Both cars are stock on the stock street tires. The 3RS will run 1.46's. Both cars are incredible on track. This in car was a 1.47 lap with my buddy Cheyenne riding passenger. A nice 250lbs brick sitting next to me haha. This configuration is with the bus stop on the straight away. The 2RS hit 148mph before the bus stop, the 3RS hit 136mph. We haven't been able to run the full 3400ft straight but when we do we will be going 160+ easy.

Those are very quick times Ryan! Congrats. Let's just say I have a long ways to go! . I was out there on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday last week. I'll be out there this Thursday and Friday as well. Got to get as many days as I can in before it gets too hot to run. Ran the new 3RS 2 days and the 997 yesterday. Love running out there. Great new track with windows up and A/C!

I don't know what my times are yet Ryan! Need to start keeping track. I just know Ryan with the white GT3 was faster than me on Saturday (I was in the 997 though) and he was at 1:52. Need to go out in the new 3RS and keep track of times. I'm definitely a newbie so I have a lot to learn.

 

Ryan is a good driver. I took him to Thermal too and he was out with us yesterday as well. My other buddy who’s a good driver was in his 19 3RS and he was lapping 1.54’s his first time out. Order up an AIM Solo. They are great, easy to use and help you learn and give you data.

 

OP: Nice driving. And I love seeing people using these awesome machines. Mines been up on the storage lift too long. It's coming down soon for a few weeks of hard livin'.
