How does it compare to the scuderia - I would be hard pressed to move into a .1 RS from a scud missile. The scuderia is just so beautiful, but I guess lacking the tech of the RS.

Congrats !!

Looks awesome - great pic! Love those small plates in Switzerland. Interesting you would give up a Scud for an RS. Reasons, thoughts so far?

the good things about the SCUD are the Superfast2 gearbox and the lightness of the steering but its a very analogue car and only really suitable for the track and you will strangely never make a SCUD sound as good as a F430 due to the shorter exhaust system. Then you have the cardboard seats which are nowhere near as good as the Carbon buckets in the F430. in the last 10 years I drove my f430 Spider 24k miles and my Scud 5k miles

Love the Scud. My fav mid engine v8 Ferrari. Love the uv 991 also. No wrong choices there either way. Both a lot of fun on the track and so much different.

Congrats

Many congrats.. Just sold my UV 991.1GT3RS and I really miss that car.. I hope you would change your mind regarding the clear lights & the stripes.. The car with that color just looks stunning as is!

The clear lights look so much simpler no, given there is already so much color

Awesome color in person, looked at one at Bellevue dealer a couple months ago. Look forward to hearing back on Fcar comparison.

Welcome to the UV Club! I have been thinking about the clear tail lights also. I;m not sure with the black wheels on my car and the black uprights on the rear wing in black too. Somehow the red seems to go better with the black.... With the silver wheels its perfect I think. In any event, enjoy the car.

Questions for the f430 Scuderia owners. If you could have had a manual in that car, would you have kept it, or enjoyed it more? Since that shop in Texas started offering the manual conversion, I've been thinking about buying a used Scud coupe to do this also.. conceptually, it would seem like a perfect keeper forever last of the beautiful analogue cars.. am I thinking of it too highly?
