It is not in Porsche's interest to show such a lap - it will only make some owners angry (of either new or older version and all the build capacity is already full, so no marketing incentive).

While j don't believe in "investment" when it comes to mass-produced cars, I do think that whoever gets one of these unicorn-level end of series 991.2 GT3 RS with the ITB will have something of a treasure in their hands.

In 30 years.. Rennlist will have mass convos and interest in this storyline.
Any coming to the US at all?

I strongly believe that. And I guess it will be the same version as EU versions, as making yet another variant on a production line that is already way overfilled wouldn’t make any sense.... IMHO

But it might not be many, as EU has stood still for many months due to the WLTP issue. So there’s a LOT of people waiting.....

For sure, without a doubt... but that doesn't make it any less "unicorn" for this "old" 991.2 to have it...

So now it's confirmed... a new engine and exhaust for the very last trickles of a model line, without a model name change. People are going to go nuts for years trying to identify these unicorn 991.2 GT3 RS with ITB engine.. how unusual in modern times. Congratulations to all the new owners, that is going to be an unbelievably special car.

Great opportunity for the aftermarket in the 992 generation given OPF.

I’ve seen the standard spec (UK dealer configurator) now state ‘Six Independent throttle valves’ also, but still would not bet the house on it. I’ve seen manufacturers get the blurb wrong before.. my last car BMW stated a Titanium exhaust on all specs, even at dealer level, and it was in fact stainless.

I really hope it has the ITB’s that’s for sure, I am remaining optimistic!

I just picked up my new 3RS yesterday (down here in Australia). The intake noises it is making is significantly different vs my 991.2 GT3-- putting that down to the side intake and/or the RS throttle calibration, who knows.

Is there a way i can check the TB setup?

Congrats, great color!
Can we please have a photo what the exhaust looks like from underneath?

As yours is an Australian model it won't have either the GPFs or the ITBs..In fact they haven't even started building the second gen Euro RSs with the new engine yet.
