I'm sure many others of you that have 2018s are going through this pain too. Let's support each other through this bad financial decision we all made.

Junker
Condolences for your loss (of value).

Once of those weird bee spot things etched into the paint and I'm on my second Xanax refill.

Pray for me.

I heard on the internet that it's activated by pushing the pedal on the right. True story!

My 2018 had over 12,000 miles so I crushed it and sold it for scrap.

LOL, why does everyone in SF Bay Area either ride a Santa Cruz, or a S-Works? It was fun dropping people on my gravel bike on the down hills. China Camp park was a ton of fun with great views!

I'm not from here but, when I moved here I wanted a NorCal bike, so went with Santa Cruz. But I've also owned a bunch of other brands. But here are some pics of my bikes to bait you a bit more :P

.. and the cat is telling you to agree with me on this .. don't disobey

Sadly though I have a broken left leg so won't be riding any bikes or driving my MT GT3 until the end of summer.. so I'm actually jealous of your ride at China Camp.

Nice stable! I tore apart my shoulder 2 years ago, and still recovering with added titanium parts. Then broke my scapula last summer doing stupid stuff and still recovering from that. My fitness is at al all time low. I was in so much pain, that my MTB's were only ridden a few times last year. China Camp was a ton of fun. It was challenging on a drop bar bike. The climbs were brutal in a few spots. I did 3 rides out there when on vacation last November during the fires. Everything was also kind of shut down.

My cat said dog rule. He pays fetch and eats dog food. Follows the dog around the house.

Feeling your pain, I'm 3 months into a broken tibial plateau. They only gave me stainless pins and plates, I would have liked some more exotic metal. I lived up in Seattle for a few years and loved the riding up there, went to Whistler a bunch as well. Cali does biking well but BC and WA are next level IMHO.

Doubt CarMax would even take a trade on that. I feel your pain. Hopefully you over insured it and can claim a "fire"

I'm driving the wheels off it and enjoying every second. Not saving it for anyone else.

I May even retire it soon, cup car it and pick up a .2 RS and make that my new daily!

Drive your cars boys! No need to save them.

OUCH! Those are some big screws!

Yeah, MTB up here is EPIC!! So many incredible places to ride. The terrain is so much different from Bay Area.
