Touring Rarer than 911R; 717 to 991

It's funny to hear some guys on here talk about how touring owners are more into driving their GT3s than other GT3 owners. Maybe wishful thinking because in actuality it seems more like most of you are fixated on collectibility, scarcity and value. Here's yet another thread talking about touring production and how rare it is. Basically, just another stupid value thread. It's sad to watch but this place is going downhill fast.
In your head much? Tell me who hurt you.
Nothing in the OP was about value, just production numbers... which is somewhat interesting even if the data is flawed.
As far as driving their cars, that's exactly what's happening and very few of them are getting flipped in comparison to the rows and rows of GT3s at dealerships that were dumped for guys getting into RS cars... or touring in my case. ;-)

there will be 800+ For N.A., triple that number for WW production. About 3x as many GT3t as 911r and as most have stated the Touring is not a model it’s just an option on a GT3 of which there were about 16,000 built from 2014-2019.

I am pissed with PAG not to open PTS window during my GT3T order.
But I feel also blessed as I have one

When the dog photos are the best part of the thread...
Spot on.
Interesting scenario to watch in the next 20 years or so....
Actually, the Carrera T MAY be the one to possibly watch in 20 years as far as real car collection collectibility due to its very low production.
The Touring is just a trim for the 2018/9 GT3 in which they made thousands. Wishful thinking though on collectibility and not driving it would be the way to preserve the highest market value it will eventually settle at.....
The Speedster, with a relatively low production and MAINLY due to its "connection to previous Speedsters" of the past will be THE 991.2 GT3 to have as far as collectibility, but those cars will probably not be driven many miles....
The GT3 Speedster is more closely linked to the Speedsters of the past, instead of being a GT3 trim, like the Touring or Winged variation.

Its a really cool low profile appearance option for those that don't want a wing. Beyond appearance, it's the same car as the manual-3 w/wing. And in either trim, it's an amazing car. and I'm GLAD they made thousands because you can beat on them guilt free (as I did today).

It's highly doubtful that the take rate on Tourings is the same worldwide as it is in the USA. The demand for manual transmissions is significantly higher in the USA than anywhere else.
