Default 991.2 RS cowl delete? (Under Frunk)

850 miles and I’ve managed to break the center tab on this piece. Can I remove the rubber gaskets from the cowl, attach them to the NACA tubing leading to the brakes and delete the cowl?

I see there’s an air gap after doing so that may let water into bad places, could affect brake cooling and possibly aerodynamics. I realize it’s a quarter million dollar car but as a track bike guy I can’t stand extra unnecessary junk especially when it breaks. Thanks RL.

In the rain, water will flow into the battery compartment, rust on all those surrounding parts is guaranteeed, there is a fuel tank there, and a 12v battery, water is a great electricity conductor.

Don't do it.

Ok thanks - i’ll Epoxy the center tab back on there. I don’t know how I broke it - anyone else have problems with this piece?
