I personally wouldn’t paint them. I think it will look odd.

It obviously CAN be done.
With these textured surfaces, they will need to paint it. Let it set for a day
Then paint again.

I dont think it would suit suit the car though.

me personally i would leave them as is.

After market CF on these cars IMO, looks just like that. after market. Cheapens the look. but thats subjective.

do you have WP?

As a test, see if you can get them wrapped. Either in gloss black or 3M 4D Carbon.
If you like it, then go ahead with the real deal.

If the car was say Yellow, or Red, or White, or a really bright colour (i know you green is bright, but not like white or yellow etc) then i would say MAYBE gloss, or Carbon etc.

But i personally dont think it would look good against the green.
But thats just me

The plastic bugs me a little bit also, especially having door handles and mirror lowers in gloss black. I considered going the CF route but i’ve already been down that route building a full carbon S1000RR track bike, i’m “over it” and as the poster above mentioned I don’t want it to look decidedly aftermarket.

Has anyone wrapped the pieces gloss black? How does it look? Is there any advantage to painting rather than wrapping? Thanks RL.

I am not at all Into wrapping unless it’s a clear. I can always just do one piece and see how it looks Carbon fiber after market is not the same Can we just purchase cf from Porsche
