They used two coats of poly satin gold and the house clear. At one point I was considering no clear or frost clear, glad I went with some protection with the clear, not sure what the frost clear would’ve looked like though. My suggestion for anyone considering powder coating, definitely need clear.
Decided to take some acetone to the center caps and used some 1000 grit sandpaper, oddly enough the center caps were the typical porsche crest with the gold with red and black. These are good option since the logo slill shows fine after painting them.
The first set of wheel caps turned out ok, but not enough detail on the porsche emblem, they were aftermarket after all. So got a set of OEM 993 caps. An improvement.
I decided to go Aurum on my GT Silver and I absolutely love the color! It totally changes the look of the car.
