Yeah, looks like another long season after that race! But i think i am just going to have a new mindset this season. It isn’t about who wins (Mercedes) but the lower teams and their development, specifically Haas. Basically ignore the front of the grid and focus on the American team!

There's a Netflix series "F1 Drive to Survive" that I finished binge watching just before the first 2019 race. Made me appreciate the "best of the rest" teams, and significantly enjoy watching the live race more. Now I care more about Haas vs Renault than the getting old MB vs Ferrari rivalry.

4th vs 5th place has been the more interesting contest for way too long. I think this year it will be LeClerc v Verstappen... after a few races I guess.
Was F1TVpro working for anyone?

Did a binge viewing of that F1 documentary too. Should also checkout Gentlemen Driver on Netflix.

Loved the Netflix series!
Anyone know where I can watch the race online?
I follow F1 on YouTube and they have great highlights. I would prefer to watch the full race.

I used the F1 TV Pro APP while watching the race live on TV - worked very well. The only negatives were the in-car cameras were not turned on for viewing until well into the race. And, you can’t control which in-car view you receive - ie. Front, looking back at Drriver (useless), or looking behind. I think NASCAR has had this ability for several years when you are at the event. Seems like an easy thing to unlock/configure for F1 on the APP.

I use a VPN client to connect to the UK then I watch it on Channel4.
Not all races are live but you can watch the race when Channel4 broadcasts is or afterwards here:
Note: your device might need to have the same time zone as the UK

Grew up watching F1... it triggered the petrol head in me. Perfect timing too, being able to follow Piquet and Senna (fellow countrymen) really helped to solidify interest in cars. I still remember EXACTLY where I was when we heard the news of Senna’s passing. Since then F1 never been the same for me... it was nice later with Schumacher... but not at the same level. I still follow F1, but not with the same passion or interest as before.

Thank you. Will look into it.
Is this seriously the "best" way to watch F1?
I do not watch cable tv at all... so just wondering what the best solution is. Will look into the app : )
