There is no VIN on the hood so no I am not concerned. I also have the stock hood and would sell that with the car.

The .2 3RS hoods have VINs on them. Just putting it out there.

Can anyone comment on the weight difference between the OEM 991.2 GT3 hood and the carbon 991.1 911R/RS hood weight? Thanks

I also put an actual badge on it instead of a sticker, using the 997 Rubber gasket and drilling some holes like shown in my previous thread https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...e-sticker.html

I always felt the hood on the 991 generation looked a little naked especially for a GT3. I really like the lines in the middle of the hood like the 993 which they have brought back on the 992. The 911R/GT3RS hood adds a little extra character. Plus I think its dumb that the GT3 has a carbon wing but no carbon hood. The new 991.2 GT2/GT3RS hood is nice but the extra ducts are too much for a non RS GT3 in my opinion, so I went with this. Overall very happy with this subtle upgrade!

I don’t think the 991.2 GT3 has carbon front fenders (wings) ??

It does not.

The 911R and the Speedster have CF front fenders, along with the hood.
