Thanks for the kudos. I'm fortunate to finally get ahold of this one. I'm going to be daily driving it to get the break-in overwith. I took the LONG way to and from the office today and I'm amazed at how torquey the engine is from idle to 5k RPM. I've heard/read various reviews saying a 911T is better for regular use but I don't see how as it feels so strong from low speeds and in traffic.

I have a new GT3 manual in Chalk with 280 miles so far, been raining alot in Northern California since picking the car up middle of January. So is the Andreas Preuninger recommendation same as the owners manual. I was at the Porsche Driving Experience in LA last week. One of the engine specialists there also said following the owners manual during break in. I was hoping for a different response. Congratulations on your car, it is a beatiful build.

The “Preuninger Method” is different. It starts at 5k for first 500km and goes up 500 rpm
for each subsequent 200km
intervals.

Appreciate the love, guys. One observation I have is that it does not feel any stiffer than the 991.2TTS. If this thing had a back seat and the LWB's folded it would be the perfect Porsche! Well, for me,at least.

I'm hoping for a 992 GT3 allocation, and am in love with Chalk. As such, I was looking at pictures of Chalk tourings and came across this post. Beautiful car! And cheers to a fellow El Pasoan!
